This Privacy notice explains how BechKhao ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website and related services in India. It is not legal advice and may be updated from time to time.

• Account data - phone number (primary), optional email, display name, city, profile photo, and verification status.
• Listings & chat - ad content, images, offers, and messages you send.
• Usage & device data - approximate location (when you allow it), IP address, browser type, and product analytics events (e.g. signup → first listing).
• Support - information you send to contact@bechkhao.com or via forms.

• Create and secure your account (including email OTP verification)
• Show listings, search results, and profiles
• Enable chat, notifications, and safety features
• Enforce posting limits, moderation, and fraud prevention
• Improve the product and measure performance
• Respond to support requests and meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not paywall browsing or basic search using your data.

We may share data with:

• Service providers who host infrastructure, send OTPs, store files, run search, or help with moderation - under contracts that limit their use of data.
• Other users - only what is needed for the marketplace (e.g. display name, city, public listing details, verification badge).
• Authorities when required by law or to protect users from serious harm.

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed for safety, disputes, and legal requirements. You may request account deletion; we will delete or anonymize personal data except where we must retain limited records (e.g. fraud or legal holds).

We use industry-standard protections for data in transit and at rest via our hosting and auth providers. No method is 100% secure - use strong device security and never share OTPs.

BechKhao is not directed at children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
